this is the tale of my professional life thus far:
after gradumutating into a bachelor of fine arts with minor musical powers, i relocated to the city of new york on the dawn of the two thousand and sixth revolution of this planet around it’s sun. since that fateful day i’ve worked as an animator freelancing of my own accord and for studios such as flickerlab, next frame studios [for nbc] on an emmy award nominated project, animation collective, and others. the projects that resulted from this experience went on to be broadcast on the likes of nbc, nickelodeon, cartoon network, the interweb, and even shown in theaters.
in the two thousand and eighth year, i took leave of the city on a quest to alaska for eight months in a vegetable oil bus, serving as a guitarist for the philadelphia band mose giganticus. during this time i grew a beard and learned how to survive in the wild. i acquired many skills that aided me in my journeys through the rocky mountains and even the yukon territory, where in both instances i found myself at the mercy of nature for an extended period of time. somehow i even was able to continue working as a freelance animator during this period [this experience was mentioned in the june 2008 issue of print magazine] until my computer charger was lost to me at the behest of the state of milwaukee.
upon my return to civilization i reintegrated myself into the animation world, pulling myself back up by my bootstraps and bicycle chains from the haggard state i was left in by the wilds of the yukon. i reside once again in the borough of brooklyn in city of new york and am supporting myself on a a diet of freelance animation and illustration; as well as continuing my never ending quest for animation knowledge, adventure, and rock and roll.
